Little Bit About Me
Throughout my years of being a student art teacher, game lover of all sorts, and aspiring environmentalist, I've gathered a bunch of games and crafts for kids and families; activities that are unique yet tried-and-true! During teaching, I found that I had a hard time finding balance between engagement, challenge, trying to prevent waste, and fun when trying to design lessons plans for these kids, and these are some resources I would've loved to have back in the day. So, parents, kids, educators, and anyone that wants to utilize these materials, please enjoy! :-)

Why "Eco" Crafts?
From someone who's been into arts & crafts since I was 4, I don't dare guess how many of my masterpieces are sitting somewhere in a landfill right now. I wish I had known just how much you could make or do with a piece of paper, cardboard, or hunk of plastic, because lots of money and expensive single-use materials could've been saved...
As a member of Earth, I believe everyone has a part to play in environmental conservation. In the past decade, teens are starting to create less with their hands and communing with nature less as well, but honestly, I don't blame them (us). Personally, a more sustainable lifestyle hadn't even crossed my mind until high school. Many studies have shown that integrating lessons into early childhood education can greatly increase future eco-conscious actions, and upcycling to create recycled art is just one way to make a change!
